HomeSiren U Jeweller is a version of Ajax’s well known siren, refined to meet the strict UK standards. It is more than just a noise-making device. This compact device alerts users when a door is opened and displays delays when entering/leaving, as well as after-alarm notifications. Additionally, the siren can serve as a security status indicator. The device operates on pre-installed batteries that promise up to 5 years of life. The Jeweller wireless protocol ensures reliable communication between the siren and a hub or range extender at distances1 of up to 2,000 m. HomeSiren U Jeweller is fitted with both hardware and software protection to keep user setups tamper-proof. Controlling the device is refreshingly simple thanks to seamless integration with Ajax apps.

Informs of any alert  The siren serves as a deterrent to intruders and provides alerts for fire detection, water leaks, and other alarms. Installers can configure the siren to respond to alarms triggered by specific detectors or security groups, and customize its volume using an Ajax app.

Indicates delays  HomeSiren U Jeweller can be configured to signal a delay when entering or leaving. When activated, the sound signal and built-in or external LED indicators serve as a reminder for users to disarm the system.

Displays the security mode The siren can notify users of security mode changes with both sound and an LED indicator. The latter can be set to remain on continuously, indicating that the system is armed to prevent unwanted tracking. Additionally, an external LED indicator can be installed to ensure clear visibility of the security system status.

Notifies of doors being opened HomeSiren U Jeweller offers a unique Chime feature that plays a special sound when an opening detector is triggered, even when the system is disarmed. This is ideal for stores, as it immediately alerts staff to incoming customers.

Provides after-alarm indication When after-alarm indication is activated, the built-in or external LED indicator displays both confirmed and unconfirmed alarms, as well as notifies of the lid being opened.

HomeSiren U Jeweller is powered by high-quality batteries that undergo real-time testing during production, with each unit meticulously inspected by Ajax Systems to verify its performance characteristics. These batteries maintain stable operation in temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +40 °C, ensuring consistent performance without any loss of capacity.

Unique wireless technology

Jeweller is Ajax’s proprietary radio protocol for secure two-way communication. It provides a block encryption and device authentication during each communication session with Ajax hub or radio signal range extender. Jeweller prevents sabotage, spoofing, and data theft.

Communication through steel and concrete

Some facilities have thick walls, metal partitions, or sheer distances that affect signal quality. Ajax range extenders are designed to increase the range of a wireless network and deliver stable connection with a hub despite the obstacles. And by choosing the model with an Ethernet cable connector, you get an additional communication channel. А single system can accommodate up to five range extenders.

System supervision

 

All Ajax devices perform automatic self-diagnosis and report their states to the hub. Essential parameters, such as tamper, communication, and power supply statuses, are continuously monitored. The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the hub and Ajax apps, ensuring instant notifications for monitoring companies and users. In case of any malfunction or connection failure, an installation engineer is informed immediately to provide necessary services.

Sabotage resistance

 

Tamper alarm A tamper is designed to detect malicious dismantling of HomeSiren U Jeweller. Users and CMS will be immediately notified of this. Other sirens in the system may also activate a sound signal if they are set up accordingly.	Data encryption Block encryption with a dynamic key protects all the stored and transmitted system data. It makes device reprogramming extremely difficult and protects data from replacement and theft.
Data-rich notifications The Ajax system instantly delivers informative notifications of alarms and events. Security companies and users receive precise details about an incident, including a triggered device, time, and location.	Device authentication against spoofing The hub authenticates the device during each communication session by checking its unique parameters. If any parameter fails the check, the hub ignores device commands.
Regular polling The device regularly exchanges data with the hub. The system controls each device state and reports any malfunction and connection loss.	Connection loss detection At minimal polling interval settings (3 data packages every 12 seconds), it takes only 36 seconds to detect connection loss and notify the security company and users of the incident.

Effortless installation and setup

HomeSiren U Jeweller is ready to operate straight out of the box. Using the SmartBracket mounting panel, an installer can effortlessly mount the device on the wall, eliminating the need to disassemble the enclosure. Ajax apps facilitate quick integration into the ecosystem: simply pair the device with the hub by scanning the QR code. It can always be reconfigured remotely without the need for on-site visits.
